Their are many people who use facebook with phoney profiles, many use porn stars images, in an attempt to friend and establish relationships for the sole purpose to extort money. The Internet has made it very easy to transfer money, mainly thru Itunes Cards, pre-pay debit cards, even Amazon gift card, many that can be converted into currency.
These people are pro’s and will wait weeks or even months before reaching out and asking you for money. If you are in doubt about a persons true identity you can use many reverse image identifing websites, such as:

If you have been the victim of Internet fraud and this person has frauded you out money you will probably not get your money back. However, you can press charges as Internet Fraud, is illegal, and a crime. The Interenet laws have changed and with all the theft and hacking have become much more severe, you can file a complaint here:
1. Do undercover cops have to tell you they are working undercover?
When asked, undercover police do not have to tell you they are working undercover. I’m not sure how this rumor started but it is not true and actually helps law enforcement. Many times as an undercover, suspects would ask if I were a cop and would explain I must tell them if I were. I would respond, “No. I’m not a cop and you are correct. I would have to tell you if I were.” This answer made the suspect comfortable enough to sell me drugs.
